NOT WORTH CONSUMING

It was just all around disappointing. The leading pair would have been brillant without being flanked by Woody Allen, who did a particularly poor job in this film. Certain paranormal factors that had been added into the film could have made it quirky otherwise but the lifeless script made it just seem silly. Annoying writing blunders galore.

For a comedy it wasn’t very amusing. As is the case with many comedies, the success of the entire film rested in the humor which seemed to be a no-show.

The curse of comedies and horror movies…they’re the most difficult genre to make successful.

But I’m still pissed I paid for it on demand…

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

The two leads look fantastic. They acted well but the script is just way below the standard of a Woody Allen movie. (And Woody should have kept himself out of the film, his acting – aside from the script – dragged the film down.)

Woody the Actor RUINED this movie. — 3 years ago

What a fun premise and great looking lead players (despite every attempt of the Wardrobe Department to make Scarlett look as dumpy as possible.) “Sir” Hugh’s Diesel Jeans were never so well worn! But the title of my review pretty much says it all. If you absolutely must see this movie, wait for DVD and zish through all the parts with Woody Allen.

And before I get flamed, I have very much enjoyed Woody’s comedy in the past. He just needs to recuse himself from further acting duties.
