100% Chick Flick! My boyfriend and I went to see it. It’s hilarious! Mandy Moore does really well with her part. I fell in love with “Johnny.” :P It’s slightly predictable but truly sweet and beyond a love story… It’s about motherhood, sisterhood, and missing the part of loving someone in your life. It’s a good movie.

I’m one of those guys out there that actually enjoys going to “chick flicks”. Sadly though, this is not one of the good ones.
My girlfriend and I frequent the theather, and her eyes lit up when she saw the cast in the trailer for the movie. Unfortunetly, when the five minute trailer was over, the entire plot was already revealed. Nothing really deviated either… the movie was the trailer. Spare yourself the agony and just watch the trailer online.
It was cliché. Overdone so much that when tried to be fed to the dog, he turns his head in disgust. Yeah, it did have some amusing moments, but nothing worth writing home about – and definitely not something worth the nine dollars spent on the ticket.
One star for seeing Mandy Moore’s panties. Another for seeing a dog hump an inanimate object.

This is a great movie to see with your sisters or significant other. I saw it with my boyfriend and we had a great time. It’s a very feel good movie and wouldn’t have worked without Diane Keaton who really rocks as a quirky and overzealous mother. Mandy Moore is proving herself to be not only cute but an alright actress. :)

Compared to many romantic comedies this movie has a certain something that makes it all all right. This movie is full of cliches, and seeing yet another movie like this one would think i would get bored, but the whole theater was rolling on the floor laughing and i actually cried at certain parts. Yes, the movie is a bit raunchy sometimes, and it even has the obligatory corny wedding-at-the-end where everyone’s-happy-and-singing-about-it, but this time it didn’t feel dumb and overdone, it felt right.
Among horrible movies that I’ve ever seen this ranks right up there. I expect better from Mandy Moore and even better from Diane Keaton. Who really talks to their mother about orgasms? And on the phone to them about sex while having sex? Puh-lease! It was disgusting. It was awful.
