Not gonna do a proper review yet but while it does appear to be a little better than her last CD WHOLE NEW YOU, not a whole lot really “jumped out” at me. (Other than a very tasteful cover of the Bee Gees’ “Words”)

Perhaps further plays will change that but for now A FEW SMALL REPAIRS and STEADY ON remain her finest work.

Another new release this month which I’m looking out for is Shawn Colvin’s These Four Walls. What can I say, I have a soft spot for her music, her voice, those wonderful melodies. If they’re anything like her past releases, I’ll be sure to warm up to them very quickly.
