Still playing this daily…
There’s always a couple of minutes somewhere during the day to squeeze in some extra practice. The multiplayer function is fantastic.

For some reason, I’m better at this game when completely knackered or slightly drunk. Hmmm….

I think this one is more fun than Dr. Kawashima’s Brain game; for starters, there are more and more varied minigames. It also doesn’t rely on the (sloppy) voice recognition which can be frustrating. As is the case with Brain Age, all the minigames are rather simplistic, but as any old-school gamer will tell you this does not have to detract from sheer fun.
And lastly: the multiplayer version. Where Brain Age only has a rather lame math game this single-cartridge-multiplayer offers EVERY minigame featured in the one-player variant in a nerve-wrecking timed quiz style game where being the first to get the answer will get you the majority of points, the second slightly less than half of the remainder etc. Answering wrong will subtract points your score. Answering the question correctly will automatically start a timer putting the remaining players under extra stress. Up to 8 players can play simultaneously.
Take note: this game will destroy friendships, rend apart relationships and make you smarter at the same time. Well, that remains to be seen but it is a barrel of laughs and then some.
