Not as good as Fast Food Nation, sex drugs and cheap labor are tired themes for me.. least with Fast Food Nation i felt like we had some interesting not usually told stories to be had.. with this book its a redux of the typical “we’re all goin down in flames” america thing. It was ok it just wasnt as moving as FFN.

I read Fast Food Nation and liked it for the most part, so I thought I’d check out what he thought about America’s other addictions.

I tried but I just couldn’t get into this. Dry.

Okay, so he’s preaching to the converted. Still, it’s just more evidence that the “War on Drugs” is based on some basic fallacies and outright lies.
