He impressed me so much in Iron Man, catching one of Robert Downey Jr’s back catalog on tv is cause for pause.

I’ve seen this one before, but it’s lighthearted and sweet and easy to watch again, although ultimately not much more than a bit of fluff.

Cybill Shepherd (looking brilliant, as ever) loses her husband early on in their marriage, before she gives birth to their daughter, and never manages to get over it. He ends up in heaven, so frantic to get back to her that he accepts the only possible path back to earth: reincarnation. Of course, that leaves a 22-year age gap, not to mention lack of memory on one side, and belief on the other. And as if that’s not bad enough, what do you do when your daughter fancies the new you?!

Sweet, innocuous, fluff. A good cast makes it just the thing when you’re in that mood! :)
