The movie was just outstanding…it totally kept my attention and was a great storyline to follow…actors were fabulous…I can’t say enough great things about this movie !!!
I should have known better when I saw this was by the same director as the dire Elektra and the not-so-great Daredevil: the hammy, over-the-top ‘acting’ seems to be a recurring theme, alas, and is damn distracting, especially in the opening half hour or so.
However, Nic Cage (despite looking awful, I’m sorry – and that’s before the skull) does better in the second half, and while the story is poor the special effects are great – especially the finale.
A bit different from a lot of comic book adaptations, but could have been a lot better.
One questions: what did the poor lizard do to deserve that fate?!
Cliched, bad acted, utterly commercial. The storyline is silly, unbelievable and predictable. But it can be pretty enjoyable if you don’t expect much and if you are in the mood to see a skull on fire driving around and figthing evil.
It’s ok. There are some funny parts, some mushy romantic parts, some fiery action parts… Don’t expect much, and you’ll love it. Also, the movie doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s good.
Not as good as the comics, but still good. Still, Spider-Man 3 will rule the box office this year in terms of super hero movies.
Wow! I didn’t really think I would like this movie! Now that I’ve actually seen it I really have to say I like it. My boyfriend picked it out and we enjoyed it so much we’re going to go and see it again! :) There’s a lot of action and at some point a predictable plot BUT there are a few surprises! Go and see this!
