I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in very good writing. McCracken has a way with metaphors that really impressed me and often made me stop and think about what she’d said. I’d also recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading the offbeat story. None of the characters in this book are strange, but they deal with an issue that the majority of us never ever have to consider. That’s interesting to me, and I gravitate toward books written about this kind of subject. And last, but not least, while I’m not a reader of the romance genre, this book has a love story that’s decidedly different from most, and it’s that difference that makes it very special.
