I love Terry Pratchett, and this book is wonderful. The three witches are so easy to identify with parts of my own character!

All the Discworld books are brilliant-Pratchett draws on so much mythology, legend etc and puts a thought provoking, or humourous, twist on it. If you haven’t read Pratchett yet, DO!

I really, really love it – Terry Pratchett MUST know some real life witches – the jokes are too spot-on to be otherwise.

An absolute hoot, with lots of sly jokes about witches and theater (Shakespeare’s Scottish play in particular).

For some reason it took a really long time for me to finish this book. It’s not that it wasn’t good, in fact, I really enjoyed it. However, I just didn’t feel the need to gobble it up as I do most books. Maybe it was that the story was a rehash (a very humourous rehash) of Shakespearan themes which made it feel very familiar so I had no problem putting the book down for a week.
