The one where Discworld discoveries movies!

It’s fun going back to some of the older books and seeing now-familiar characters as they started out. This is Archchancellor Ridcully’s introduction, for instance, and the Bursar is still (relatively!) sane.

Otherwise it’s one of the stand alone Disc novels, exploring the newly discovered thrall of Holy Wood and ‘the clicks’ rather than focusing on one of the common groups, although the wizards get a good look-in.

I’ve been going through the Discworld books in order and after the last couple mediocre ones I was definitely losing interest. However, Moving Pictures is in wonderful witty Practhett form once again and I look forward to reading Reaper Man sometime in the near future.
