WORTH CONSUMING!
This book was my trusty travel companion for many years. I’ve read it about a dozen times and always tucked it in my backpack for long train journeys and such. The protagonist is on a long journey, too, trying to find himself and his destiny (make people commit acts out of pure love), committing murder while coming ever closer to achieving his goal.
It was also the first book I bought in Dutch to see if I was starting to understand written Dutch when I moved to Holland. I read it to my singing teacher, who had a good laugh at my atrocious pronounciation.
