WORTH CONSUMING!

A little liberty was taken with the Biblical account, but on the whole this is a decent movie version of the true meaning of Christmas.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Wonderful, wonderful movie. Not at all cheesey like a lot of the Christian movies out there. The acting was great, and I loved how they included Christmas songs in the film score. A great movie to see on the big screen, and one that I will most definitely add to my growing collection.

WORTH CONSUMING!

The Nativity Story. Can’t get more Christmas than that. Most of the movies of this are afternoon TV sugary sweet. This is not. No, it is not Passion of the Christ gory, but the real human challenges of the situation come through. Mary got pregnant during her engagement to Joseph while in a different town. In their time that was a stonable offense. It took true courage to accept her after that. The three kings are funny and a bit hollywoodized. They also come the same night Jesus is born which is not how most scholars have it (they have them coming a week or so later). Something good to do with the relatives. I rate 3 of 5 stars.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I am very christian girl but I dont get really excited about christian movies. I have yet to see all of Passion of the Christ.

But i am from a small town with a 5 screen cinema so me and my mother went to see this.

It was actually well-written and well acted. It made me think of things i never considered before this. Like how Mary’s family and town would react to her being pregnant.

The only real problem I had with this movie was the wise men didn’t actually come to see Jesus until he was two years of age. But nothing to be petty about. And also thought the actor who played Herod’s son was a little dry. But that is just my humble opinon.
