i was actually reading this while reading keruac’s “on the road” and found that they go quite well together. the main character has a bit of the beat feel to him, and his feelings towards his friends girlfriend remind me a lot of the main character in “on the road”. altogether i enjoyed the book quite a bit, i would probably not recommend to very many people. there are so many better books out there, its a bit of a waste of time.
