Vomit Sauce — 3 years ago
This was my first time trying vodka sauce. I do not consider myself to be a picky eater, in fact I think I have tried and enjoyed a wider range of foods than most people. I enjoy new things and was looking forward to trying a new type of pasta sauce.
I’m not sure if it is simply because I drank too much when I was younger or if this stuff was really ill-concieved. When I first opened the jar I was assaulted by the one-two punch of acidic sour vapors and the creamed peach color. Pouring out the contents did nothing for my appetite. The creamy smooth consistancy dotted with bits of tomoatoes and other organic ingredients looked like so many puddles that litter downtown after Friday nights.
In the end I ate it, but could not bring myself to enjoy it. I will not buy it again.
