A valuable read

I bought a copy of this book about 10 years ago from a little bookstore in Fort Bragg, California. I was going through a really turbulent and confusing time in my life, and I had no clue what direction I wanted to go in. Looking back at it, I seemed to be wanting answers about so many things in life and not having any clues on where to find them.
When I read the book, the one thing I can remember is feeling an overwhelming sense of calm. Thich Nhat Hanh’s main message was to remain mindful regardless of what is going on around you. Even the toughest moments in life are a call for us to be mindful of the positive things around us.
I still have the book today as sometimes I can feel myself slipping back into my old frame of mind. At least now I know how to regroup and concentrate on what really matters in life.
The wisdom of Thich Nhat Hahn, what more needs to be said?… :)
I picked this book up at a very difficult time in my life and it completely revived me. Now whenever one of my friends is having an issue, I give them this book.
