this wasn’t my favorite tom robbins book…i still enjoyed it, as his prose never ceases to make me giggle and ponder the mystery of the universe, but i felt like the story was a bit weak, and that there were one tangents too many

This is by far my favorite Tom Robbins book. It was the first one I read, and it got me hooked on him for good!

Another great book by Robbins.

is a good way to get into tom robbins. like skinny legs, it’s him at his weirdest, but it’s a bit shorter and doesn’t meander quite as much.
