I was mightily impressed with Hyperion. So impressed in fact that this book fell short of what I was expecting it to be. People were disappearing and appearing without reason and it felt somewhat time wasting for me. That said however, anyone who has read Hyperion cannot help by read Fall of Hyperion for it’s conclusion. In truth, if there was any part I loved, it was the little twist at the back which somewhat linked stories together.

It was okay, except for the fact that near the end it gets preachy, stating that Love is the uniting force of the universe… not impressed.

I’m re-reading this for the first time in several years. I just finished my re-read of Hyperion and was just amazed at how good it was. So, I had to re-read the sequel as well.
