I speak the kind of Spanish that helps people find the bano in Argentina, not the kind of Spanish that helps people read Casa de los Espiritos.

Nevertheless, I shall persevere…eventualmente.

This is my favorite book. I just love it. Could read it over and over.

Magic realism at it’s finest, this tale of the many generations of a family completely envelops you.

Wonderful book by one of my favorite writers. I love its multi-generational method of storytelling. It has the feel of an epic story.
