WORTH CONSUMING!
This appears to be J5’s attempt to get some radio play. Unfortunately, it means that a lot of what makes them original gets sanded off to squeeze into what they think radio will want. Despite bland stuff like “Brown Girl”, there are still some great cuts here (Sugarhill Gang styled throwback “In the House”, “Where We At” which, ironically, lambastes the type of rap they seem to be aiming closer to, and slinky “Red Hot”) Still deciding if I’ll want to buy this one or not…
