WORTH CONSUMING!
The one where Ankh-Morpork gets the news.
I think this was the first of the ‘institutions’ novels (newpaper, followed by post service and royal mint), and fun as it is it’s almost a stand-alone in the series. Familiar characters such as Vetinari and the Watch do play a big part, but the action largely happens elsewhere.
Still an enjoyable enough read, but felt a bit lacking in something on the fun-filled scale, somehow.
