DC published this series of 4 one-shots that are suppose to shed light and major bits of information cut from scenes omitted the movie “Superman Returns”. Sadly, all you get are 4 really good stories, especially the Krypton tale. Your better off reading SR: the offical movie adaption if your looking for key clues as to why Superman left the earth for 5 years.

Still for the stories and artwork alone, It’s worth consuming.
