Seasons 1 through 4 were one style and then 5 through 10 …. took themselves too seriously with the exception of episodes like their homage to the hangover. The first 4 seasons were light hearted and lovable. Once they started to be just another sci-fi soap opera they lost me. I couldn’t wait for Lana to die or be written off. His father drove me up the wall and when his mother left I was so happy to be rid of her. Those three actors had poorly developed characters, inconsistencies in their personalities and in some cases were terrible actors. Clark himself was mind numbingly whiney for the longest time. He cleaned up a bit and leveled off into that wallflower that you love to look at but listen to on mute. :)

So…if I went back I’d stop watching at season 5.

My favorite TV show. Or I suppose it was; I don’t know anymore. It was great in the beginning, but I don’t like how the story’s taken a turn in the most recent season. I’ve missed quite a few episodes of this 6th season so far.
