Lack of originality in conception and plot, but good pacing. Not as good as Kelley Armstrong’s books featuring more of Paige.

While not badly written, this book is ridiculously predictable.
A female werewolf, some conspiracy to oust supernaturals, an unbelievably good-looking bad boy, and a happy ending. Add to that some disturbing food-fetish semi-furry sex and shakey character development, and you pretty much get the picture.
Didn’t Laurell K. Hamilton already do this, but better?
