Pretty good.
I love reading about accessible abstract ways of interpreting all sorts of phenomena.
Easy to read introduction to the emerging science of networks. This is a book by a key player, and his ability to tie things together in readable narratives is a big plus…. But I have some concerns about the self-referential nature of the book, and about Barabasi’s proselytizing approach for a new form of universalism. I tend to be suspicious of anyone positing “fundamental laws” that govern everything from evolution to politics and the economy. Nevertheless, and interesting and quite easy read….

A great starter for understanding networks and how they function in business and society.

An excellent introduction to networks and how important they are and how complex, we are only just begining to understand them.
It has a place alongside the likes of Chaos, Complexity (both play a part, the math / theories and the books).
Now onto the more complex maths books.
