Still my favourite Harry Potter, although my memory of The Half-Blood Prince is a little shaky right now. Maybe I’ll change my mind in a few days. I wasn’t as entranced this time ‘round – maybe it’s the knowing how it will all turn out. But still, I thought the book was much more balanced than the previous ones, and the way that Rowling introduced a few characters and concepts actually led me to believe that she might have had a plan during this whole thing.

It was my favorite Harry Potter book for the longest time, and it’s actually tied with HBP now – until Friday, where everything might change with that much-awaited Book Seven. I am not sure why, it’s probably because of the “new family” feeling that Harry gets at the end, that really touched me a lot. Also, it’s the first glimpse you get of the Marauders, and these guys are very dear to my heart. Lupin = ♥! The plot in general is so great, with the time twisting, it was so unexpected to me. A very big step up from the two previous books.
