This was an excellent read. Far and away the best Dickens book I’ve ever had the pleasure of picking up. Took me longer than I thought it would, but well worth the time. I loved the characters. In fact, I noticed that quite a few of them seem to be much-polished versions of previous Dickens characters that now appear to be shadows or excersizes of what they would become in this all-consuming masterpiece of storytelling.
