As much as you despise those siblings growing up, I have come to realize that they are all you have to rely on in life once you get older. Sure you still have your parents, a spouse, children and aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.. But it is you and your sibline (s) who you have shared such a long special connection with your entire life. I know whaen my brother holds my son or daughter and shows them love, it just makes me melt inside. Famly is what you have for the long haul and once in awhile that special friend.
