Greatest movie EVER!

Aaaaaahhhhhhh, the 1812 Overture!

Remember, Remember the 5th of November.

I loved this. I loved that they kept it in London, where it was originally set and ddin’t try and ‘export’ it. I loved that it was about a subject which people hide from at the moment. For those reasons alone, I think it was a brave film to make.

It was choreographed beautifully, at times it was like watching an incredible dance. But The Wachowski bros.. Need I say more?

The lighting was beautiful. Hugo Weaving, no one else could have played V. Natalie Portman- she was good, the accent maybe a bit forced, if I had to be picky about it I would say that they could have picked an actual British acctress, who could have played the part equally as well.

I’ve seen it, yes. Now it’s a matter of absorbing it..understanding the irony, the beauty, the ugly, the story.
