I can’t stand Ayn Rand’s constant and ridiculous stick-man arguements. Her books are way over-blown IMO.

I listened to this book on tape when I was driving from California to Texas and it was wonderful! I was surprised because I had tried to get through it many times before and it was completely impossible for me to get through. Try listening to it on tape.
i would rather tear out my own eyes than read another atrocity by ayn rand…
this book left me feeling like i had been violated…on every…level…
ayn rand’s prose is equivalent to nails down a chalkboard…the sound of rubbing a balloon in your hands…the feeling of sand caught in your underwear…a fog horn next to your head…barf in your shoes that you realize a little too late….
i’d go on, but the memory of this book is simply too painful
I’ve tried to read this book 3 freaking times over the years. The only thing it does is make me laugh. Unintentionally, of course. The writing is just so incredibly appalling. I hate to say that an author has defeated me, but Rand has.

Took awhile to read, but was worth it!
A fun book, but it seems to be more against Objectivism (Ayn Rand’s cult/religion/philosophy) than for it!

Another epic novel by Ann Rynd. There is no one else who can capture the essence of the human spirit like she can.
