This novel changed my life.
It was an absolutely incredible read, I will likely read it again and again – I think everyone should at least give it a try. I became so attached to Rand’s characters, and I was sucked right into the plot. It was one of those books for me, where you read until 4 AM and then as soon as you wake up you start again. Read a review, see if its right for you I doubt you’ll be disappointed!

what i liked abt the book was the fact that u can make out its rand’s first book.. her principles and her ideas seem fresh…

Having read each of her other novels previously, I decided it was time to read her first and most autobiographical work. It was compelling and fascinating, but really left me feeling hollow and sad at the end. I found the blunt acceptance of the simple fact that life isn’t fair to be very hard to rationalize. We The Living was an excellent look into a different way of looking at the world than I’m used to. Overall, I would highly recommend it, but don’t expect any warm fuzzies!
