This book was so much fun to read. I wish all history books were this engaging because who would have ever thought reading Lincoln, Garfield, and McKinley Presidential history could make you laugh out loud over and over again?

I have to admit I have a total crush on Ms. Vowell. Her writing is just amazing. I had to stop for a while, but I’m back and I’m almost done with it and soon I’ll likely pick up another title of hers.

Makes this book well worth reading. I bought it for my husband (who’s into history) after watching Sarah’s interview on the Incredibles DVD (she’s the voice of Violet). She has this bizarre humor, and keane insight, which makes learning about the places related to presidential assasinations fun and interesting.

Sarah Vowell is my hero and is in love with Lincoln. Her writing is funny as always and packed with history. This book is definitely worth reading.
