Not her best work. I almost wonder if someone else wrote it. The writing was uncharacteristic of her earlier works. There were too many run on sentances and too much Texas slang. I would recommend any of her other novels, just not this one.

Disappointing and dry, with an all too obvious plot. Her earlier novels seemed more entertaining.
