Good mix of supernatural/thriller/mystery elements. Very enjoyable, especially the working relationship between Agent Pendergrast and Officer D’Agosta. Look forward to the next book.

A real page-turner, as can always be expectred from Preston and Child. I felt that the motive of rht e crimes sort of came out of left field, though. Hints continue to be dropped about a forthcoming book expanding on Pendergast’s great uncle’s experimentation.

Your typical thriller, with chase scenes that drag on, a ridiculous sex scene, and intrigue. Some aspects of the plot reminded me of the movie The Red Violin. For what it is, though, very good – a quick read, interesting plot, etc. These two usually do a good job.
