David Tennant, Tenth Doctor — 1 year ago
We weren’t sure about starting to watch the ‘new series’ Doctor Who. We were even less certain about another ‘new’ Doctor after getting used to Christopher Eccleston in Season 1.
But David Tennant makes an excellent tenth incarnation of the Doctor. In the early part of this season’s episodes, he cleverly’plays’ Eccleston, using some of his mannerisms and phrases. The transition works very well.
Warned by our son, we did not watch the two-part story about ‘The Satan Pit’, but very much enjoyed all the others, including the dramatic bittersweet conclusion to the series when Billie Piper makes her last appearance as Rose.
Recommended.
