WORTH CONSUMING!
Fabulous story, great ideas, wonderful imagery… too many freaking words. Seriously. I don’t mind the 400 pages; I actually picked it up because I loved her Beauty and I wanted a long fairy tale, but there were just pages and pages of description that I just flipped past. Has anyone read a selection of her books? Is something that became more pronounced later in her writing, is a pattern that is in most of her pieces?
