I expected a whole lot more with this new series than I got. Sherrilyn’s DarkHunter tales have waaaay more razzle, dazzle, plot and action than this one. I feel that she did use Sword of Darkness as a premiere book for her new series, however, it can’t stand alone like the DarkHunter or Brotherhood of the Sword books.

I’m on tenterhooks waiting for Ravyn’s story, Dark Side of the Moon coming out in May. I will read the next Lord of Avalon book just to get a better grasp on this new series, but I feel like I should have read this book at B&N rather than purchased it.
