I read about this tea quite some time ago, and decided I wanted to try it. A tea that tastes like popcorn? Who could resist? It was a bit difficult to find, but I finally came across it in a specialty shop a few weeks ago.

At first, I didn’t think I liked it much. It was so different from any other tea I’d ever had! The next cup was quite enjoyable though, and I now have an entire tin of it in my tea cupboard.

I do think it can be a bit harsh, and that seems to depend more on the sweetener than the steeping time. I’ve found that brown sugar works best with this tea.

It’s a fun tea to have around, despite the fact that it can be a bit expensive. And yes, it really does taste like popcorn!
