Not a suspense novel, I agree. It’s a take on the conscience battle that some law students do face during graduation : public interest law vs. corporate law.
Except that this conscience battle happens to a person who’s already way up their ladder in the corporate field.
A nice book to read to trouble my conscience, suits me well just because I happen to like stories which resides on internal motivation.
I think there’s a little too much of ”...sadly I understood this…” though, but I can’t really criticize him, he’s a respectful writer.
Basically it’s an effort to give the world insight on the hardships of the homeless and a guilt trip attack, if you like, on people who don’t give a damn about them.
