First off, Norbert Leo Butz and Sherie Rene Scott are two of my favorite Broadway stars. Their voices are incredible without being over the top and they blend beautifully. Second, the music itself is fantastic – every single song got me humming along. I would name my favorites, but I would end up naming nearly all of them! And finally, the story is incredibly moving, and the unique structure (with Jamie moving forward in time and Cathy moving backward) works perfectly. I’ve never seen the show, but if the soundtrack gets me choked up, it’s got to be good.
