WORTH CONSUMING!

I’m almost embarrassed to admit that it took me 26 years to pick this up. A lot of people told me I’d be into this. They were all correct. The misadventures of Billy Pilgrim from the killing fields in World War II to Ilium, New York to the distant planet Tralfamador kept me flipping pages. Vonnegut certainly deserves to be called one of the greats of his generation. I would already place him among my favorite authors and I’m eager to read more.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This book took me forever to get more than a few pages into. I must of started it 5 times before i could get it. Then I did and I couldn’t put it down! Maybe i just wasn’t ready for it earlier, this book blew my mind. It made me fall in love with Vonnegut.

This is one of those books that I am probably going to read again. Totally relate to Vonnegut’s way of interpreting the world. The Tralfmadorians are a touch of genius.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I’ve been meaning to read this for years and I finally read it over the weekend. I’ll definitely read more vonnegut when i get the chance.

I have to admit that I was expecting there to be more about the bombing of Dresden, but I still enjoyed SH-5 a lot. I found it to be a particularly good companion over the ANZAC Day long weekend.

Wow. I wish I hadn’t procrastinated reading this for so long. I’m going to have to read this again sometime soon so I can be sure to soak up every little detail.
