WORTH CONSUMING!
This is Robert B. Parker’s first novel featuring Spenser, a wise-ass detective. Spenser is hired to find an illuminated manuscript that was stolen from a local college. A campus orginization is suspected, but while investigating them, Spenser uncovers something much more sinister. This book was originally published in the mid-seventies, which provides some pretty dated – but funny – descriptions of people’s clothing. Overall, it’s a very nice light read.
