As bad as Y Tu Mama Tambien but without the cinematography or sex to make it watchable.

My god this was one over-the-top turd of a movie. One long orgy of special effects, action, bad acting and muddy story.
I had fun though. Empty calories can be satisfying sometimes.

Comic action movie to extreems
%{color:blue}LOL, it’s seriousness was so funny. It’s comedy was so HA HA haa. IT’s action a colourful dance.
Lots of colour, loud noise and good looking people doing and saying comic things, it worked for me.% I smile, take a drink of soda and relax for the next comic action movie. :-)

I cannot recommend this film, and thats comming from someone who enjoys most superficial scifi, comic book, futuristic, martial arts and sword fight movies, this one just seemed a little off. Too rushed at times, with some overkill on the fight scenes and not a lot of support for the ””dramatic”” scenes. And then there’s something about vampires… whatever dudes, if you say so. And dammit, how many times must she utter “I was born in a place you wouldn’t understand” was that supposed to justify the ubber crapinnes of the movie?
It’s not a very good sign when characters look directly to the camera to say something “poignant”, especially in “serious” movies.

If you want to see a movie that is one tense emotional or action scene after another, with occasional glimpes of a plot and a story behind it, this is your movie.
I did, and so I was happy with it. The visuals were what the movie was all about.
One does not harp on a music video having the background music too loud and one does not criticize Dionesius for his table manners.
There are numerous fight scenes. At some points I was taken back by how much they resembled those of martial arts films. Many-on-one fights. The difference being, the weapons of choice were swords – and wicked, futuristic hand guns.
If you want an action movie, turn it on. If you want a hard-science story or a love story – sorry, this is not your flick. Maybe they have that stuff in the book but this movie moved way too fast for that.

Horrible. More than a few times I couldn’t help laughing at the horrendousness of this movie. For example, in a fight scene, Violet kicked an enemy’s arm and he immediately fell over, dead… also, there were at least two scenes where enemies were all around her and she killed them all by spinning in a circle with a sword. Twice in the movie, people told her she couldn’t do something, and she said, “Watch me” in that uber-cool voice she seems to love using. stabs Die! Arrgh.

I’m guessing the film was fuzzy to cover some bumps under her eyes, and to integrate the computer graphics in. The computer graphics and modelling were the fakest ever. The story didn’t really display much vampire characteristics. It was like I was just there to see her hair, lip, and leather outfit colour change – a long make up commerical. Mila Jokovich always plays the same character, but I have to admit there was more talking in this movie, and her voice and actions were feminine and soft hearted at times. The movie reminded me of Birth all over again – not a good thing. The scenary and number of futuristic devices was lacking.
