WORTH CONSUMING!

Actually I have lots of questions. This is supposed to be the first Bond film, where Bond gets his double 0 status. But, there are mobile phones, references to 9/11, and the date 2005 is around at points. Now, as you can tell I’m not the biggest Bond expert, I’m just curious. Does this mean he is a new James Bond, as in, not all the Bonds are the same person, it, like the ‘00’ tag is just for identification? So each actor played a different Bond, in that scenario. I hope this is it, because if it is supposed to be the same guy, and Casino Royale (at least this version) is a prequel, either he can time travel, or there are some serious plot holes.

Other than that, I liked it :)

Edit: my brother confirmed, it is the first scenario, each actor is a different Bond.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Have you ever heard a James Bond movie described as “touching?” I thought not. Until now. But we’ll get to that in a minute.

From the first incredible chase scene to a really hot shower scene (that is so NOT what you’re thinking), it never lets up. James Bond is RIPPED, and he’ll kick your butt after he chases you on foot with poison running through his veins and his balls bruised.

Now for the touching part. I was expecting to zone out for a while, enjoy the action scenes, and not get much out of it. I was wrong. Daniel Craig brought a depth of emotion to James Bond I never thought I would see. Of course, it’s a bit easier since it’s sort of the backstory of James Bond, and there’s room for some squishy sentimentalism to show why He Is The Way He Is, but it’s well done squishy sentimentalism and I enjoyed every minute of it.

And Daniel Craig? Is my new pretend boyfriend. Sorry, Hugh Jackman. You can still be my pretend friend with benefits with whom I have the occasional affair when Daniel Craig bothers me.

In conclusion, something for everyone, and highly recommended.

WORTH CONSUMING!

The “Parkour” chase scene at the start is one of the best action sequences I’ve seen in years, a really fre flowing and “real” feel to it rather then CGI nonesense!

Gritty bond, dazling dialouge, an excellent “reboot” for the franchise!
