I adored this book as much as I’ve adored all the books in this series. As I’ve seen others comment, I’m not sure exactly what it is about them that is so fantastic . . . I think maybe it’s just that the main character, Sookie, is so darned likeable in an authentic way. She’s no Mary Sue, but she’s just wonderful. Plus, there are so many great characters, and I always read through these books very quickly – can’t put them down – and then can’t wait to read the next one, so I can find out what’s going to happen next. But WAH! This one was just released in May, so it might be a while before Book 7 is published! Ah well. It will be worth the wait. 10/10

I don’t know what it is about this series, there is nothing I can think of in its storyline or characters that explains it, but each and every one of these books has been so engaging that I cannot stop reading them. Even when it is already 1am and I have to get up at 6:30am, I cannot convince myself that putting the book down and picking it back up later is an option. I wish I could figure out why—they’re great books, but I can’t quite pinpoint why I get so sucked into them!

This is the sixth book in Harris’s Sookie Stackhouse series, and definitely worth reading. I love this series! You will probably like this book if you enjoy stories with vamps, were anythings, interesting heroins and great storylines.
