i watched the season when it aired and i just got the dvds for s1 and 2. so far i love them, they rock and im really enjoying watching it all again

Although I am enjoying the second season (i’ve seen the first 6 episodes or so), I find the pacing of season 2 bizarre. Things keep happening suddenly and seemingly randomly. Characters seem to appear and re-appear at the whimsy of the writers rather than according to any kind of logic. Characters argue and then the next time we see them in a scene together, they’re fine again. Rob Thomas, what are you doing to us?

This said, the dialogue is still snappy and fun. And did I detect a Big Lebowski shout-out? (“She’s my special lady friend!”) Plus, cameo by Joss Whedon. So of course I’ll keep watching.
