Jodi Piccoult is by no stretch of the imagination a (color:red)bad writer, but this was definately my least favorite of the four books of her’s I’ve read thus far. It deals with spousal abuse. I think the ending is pretty good, though.

So I strayed from my 100 books to read goal because I had 2 other books by Jodi on my list. I found out I really enjoy this writer and am completely captivated by her characters. I also read, following this book and again not on my list, Vanishing Acts.

I recommend her novels. They really draw in the reader.

I am a big fan of Jodi Picoult. She is such a fantastic writer. This isn’t one of my favorite books of hers, but I still enjoyed it. She always touches on such big issues!

This book as a bit disappointing. Perhaps Ms. Picoult needs to take a break from writing? After devouring her previous books, this one seemed kind of lackluster.
