I’m 86 pages in and this is just not my type of book. I read to be entertained or to learn. I do not read to be reminded that life is cruel, short and unfair to most people. Apparently, the most we can look forward to is to be 84 and cynical with a bad case of writer’s block. A future where we are unable to function because the world has remained cruel but has surpasssed our ability to understand or interact with it.

Something different about this one.. feels a little different than other Vonnegut works.. can’t say exactly what it is…
