This is a Turkish version of the Mullah Nasreddin stories that I heard from my the Persian side of my family as a child. I enjoy these stories very much and would like to find more. I remember him being described as “The wisest fool and the most foolish wise man.” I have read another book of these stories that is presented as a collection of stories without the storybook format. It was called Tales of the Hodja.
