I loved the book, and I figured the musical couldn’t be too bad, but it was better than I had expected. The music was great, with rich harmonies and outstanding vocals. Now I want to see the show!

My mom and I went into Super Target and she seen the CD, and said could I get this for her? now, my mom is a strait laced West Indian woman, and I told her sure; This CD is all that; I love “Hell No”, “Push the Button”,“Too Beautiful for Words”, “Celie’s Curse” and “What About Love?” I can actually feel myself at the play watching the drama unfold; I hope I can get to NYC to see the play;
