Oh, I would have loved this book when I was a kid. I liked it a lot today, too. A bit implausible that a teenager would be able to so quickly become a deft animal rescuer who traps baby bears and coyotes, but who cares? :-) I liked the backstory at the end about the “real” Jackie, Neal, and co.
